A Little About Me


Hi! I'm Melisa, the girl behind the camera. I am central coast wedding and portrait photographer that LOVES to travel!


I've always had a love of photography since I was a little kid. I never went anywhere with out my disposable camera. That's right....disposable. I'm aging myself right now. LOL!


In 2005, I transferred from Utah State University to Brooks Institute of Photography with the dream of being a National Geographic Photographer. While attending Brooks I was offered an interning job with a local wedding photographer. I fell in love with documenting such special moments and in 2009 I chose to branch off on my own. This was the start of MGP.


Fun Facts:

  1. I've been with my hubby for 20 years now!
  2. My husband was my server at restaurant, called me out on my fake ID, and we've been inseparable ever since. LOL!
  3. We have two amazing kiddos who are now teens. Lord help us!
  4. I am obsessed with reality tv and documentaries.
  5. I love wine tasting, snowboarding, and shopping at TJ Maxx.
  6. I shoot I shoot with a Canon 5D Mark IV.
  7. My favorite lenses are my 50 and my 35mm
